Hi,
I was just wondering (since I couldn't find any info on that) how long you can play until it crashes ?
57 MB is pretty huge and I wonder if you suffer from save game bloating. The issue IS supposed to be fixed but maybe there's still stuff causing it.
How long have you been playing that save game ?
Also, did you have issues before upgrading to Windows 10 ?
EDIT: Was able to duplicate your crash issue with that family. The minor family ran fine for me so maybe it's something about the family. or that house, Running some tests
EDIT: My suspicion is that it's an out of RAM crash. it crashed for me when it hit 3.2 GB RAM usage. The Johnsons have a big house. Not sure what to tell you though. AFAIK your save has been forwarded to the team, maybe they can make something of it and get that savegame size down. I'm unsure if there are any community tricks around to do it.
Thank you for your help. It is truly appreciated.
I've been playing it since the beginning. Day 1...I'm sim crazy.
Yes, It was crashing before windows 10. At first, it was just that weird freezing thing were time keeps moving, then it started crashing. I could usually get a couple hours in before it did. Now, it happens with some families at parties, traveling, saving ... and with Johnson's (my original family) I can only get about ten minutes in.
The Minor family is more playable ...but the weird freezing thing happens to them as well.
what is AFAIK?
And once again thank you. I want to continue with my families but this crashing is driving me up a wall.

AFAIK = As far as I know. You won't get an answer from a dev directly but maybe they can implement a fix in the next patch that can further address the game bloating.
Can you check how much your RAM usage is when it crashes ? When you have the message, open the task manager and check on the process ts4.exe
What you can try is move the house and all families to a new save game. Save them to the library and then place in a new game. The downside is that you'll loose all relationship but maybe the save games size gets down.

Johnson family is now completely unplayable. I can load it but when I tried to save it a minute later it crashed. Memory was at about 3.3 MB.
I rather stop playing than lose almost 800 hrs. of the world I created.
EDIT: I can't even load it now.

Maybe it corrupted with all the crashing.
I'm pretty sure it crashes cause the files so big and the RAM usage so high. I can try do some more research to see if there's a way to bring the size down but other than that, I'm a bit at loss how to help you.
That file you uploaded should still work. Just rename it to slot_00000002.save and put it back into your game.
