game crashed and i lost my entire day's saves

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
What is your current game version number? 1.85.203.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Discover University, Vampires, Get To Work, Get Together, Star Wars Baatu, Parenthood, Island Living, Tiny Living, Seasons, Get Famous, Cats and Dogs, City Living, Realm of Magic, Dine Out, Paranormal, Toddler Stuff and Bowling Night
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I'm not sure.
What happens when the bug occurs? I lost all the save data from hours of playing. I moved my sim out of uni housing to her family home and then moved her to a new lot and when it crashed because I tried to ask someone out on a date ... I lost all of that progress.
What do you expect to see? To not lose all of my progress and for the save function to work.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This is not the first time this has happened but it is certainly the most saved data, I've ever lost before.

    me too, except its the first time this has happened to me and I have no idea how often it will keep on happening (I've only been playing for a week). This is very frustrating

    @theunreali933 and @chic3214321  Did you actually tell the game to save at any point during this play session, and did you lose the data from that save?  When trying to save, did you see an error code?

    Please also let me know whether you use OneDrive.

    hi! The only time that I did get the error code was when I created tried to save over a save file when there were other save slots available. I wouldn't get an error if I created a new safe file, so I did that. Once I filled up my 10 available saves, it appeared like the game was working normally, as in, I could save to the same save slot without an error. (btw the error code i got before was error code 0, and it only said that the game couldn't save)

    When I went back to load that slot, however, all of my progress was gone, as if I never saved since I originally created the save file. Also I don't have onedrive as I'm on ps4.

    @puzzlezaddict I was under the impression it would auto-save when you moved people from household to household, but I've also started to get the error code: 0 thing on some of my saves today when i manually save. Not all of them but repeatedly.

    And no, i don't use onedrive
