Game crashed and won't load now

I'm on a PC, no mods or CC, all expansion packs. I was playing for a few hours today. When my sim was traveling to another spot away from home, the game crashed on me and won't load now. The game it...

    I got advice elsewhere to try selecting load game instead of resume game and then recover save and that fortunately worked for me! Good luck!

I'm starting to get that issue too

and it's getting worst .. I'm getting this right after I save game. game gets lag[d, freeze then crash few mins after save, then I get p.o then click start and keeps popping up this message

    sophygurl​  you'll get this when you click play in ea app after crash while in game play
