Game crashes for no discernible reason

did you rename your user folder as well ?
Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?
- Press Windows-Key + R
- Type: DxDiag
- Click on Save all Information.
- Attach the Text File to your post
I did not rename my user folder; should I do this and attempt to re-repair my game?

About an hour ago, I tried renaming my at-the-time current folder to "The Sims 4_10.16.25" and then repairing my game. I started a new save (using the new folder), and it just crashed while I was having my sim call her two siblings + the welcome wagon to a meal.
