Game crashes (RTX 3050)

Does anyone know if this graphics card is still compatible? It is the one in my computer and I've been playing the sims 4 up until the day before yesterday just fine but now it just keeps crashing. I've removed all my mods and even repaired the game. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the EA app and I've reinstalled Direct X, which somehow got uninstalled even though I have a couple other games that require it too. I have a total of 16GB of Ram in total and it's only a little over halfway used. I really need help figuring out how to fix it. I really want to play and it's so frustrating every time it seems like it's all good and then when I go to save hoping everything's fine it crashes again. Sorry if I'm rambling I'm struggling especially since I was finally able to get Horse Ranch and now I can't even play with it.

    @SimmerHexx I split your post from the other thread as that was about laptop recommendation.

    The card shouldn't be the cause of the crashes unless there's issues with the drivers suddenly or it's defective.

    Could you give some more info on the crashing ?

    - When does it crash ?
    - Does the game close or do you get a BSOD ?
    - Any error messages ?

    Could you post your Computer's DxDiag?

    - Press Windows-Key + R
    - Type: DxDiag
    - Click on Save all Information.
    - Attach the Text File to your post
