Game crashes when home screen pop up is closed

My game has to be force quit every single time I start up and have a full screen pop up on my main menu. Which is basically every time since the reapers reward event. Happens with or without my mod...

@candii_x54 Try playing in windowed mode. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Options.ini, search for fullscreen , and set it to 0 (zero).

If that doesn't help, please let me know whether your computer runs Windows or macOS.

And please continue to test with your Mods folder removed.
