Game crashes when I try to save room to library

This problem started to happen after I downloaded the latest sims 4 update from yesterday, and the latest update for Nvidia graphics driver. So I'm not sure if it's related to the sims update and/or the graphics card update. But prior to those updates, I never had this issue, a few days ago it worked fine. I attached the dxdiag.txt if it helps.

@belladora136  Okay, please move the Electronic Arts folder out of Documents and onto the desktop, start the game to create a new folder (and a new Sims 4 folder inside), and try again.

Please also try saving an entire lot and a sim for comparison's sake.

I do want to mention that this was a problem after the last patch, but it was resolved quickly.  I haven't seen any new reports this time around, but that doesn't mean much yet.

  • @belladora136  Please test with no mods or custom content, as in, move the Mods folder to the desktop and delete localthumbcache.package.

If this doesn't help, or you don't use any mods or cc, please create a different room and try saving that.  Make it simple, perhaps just a box with a chair in it.

If you get another crash, please let me know what antivirus you use and whether OneDrive is running on this computer, even if you never use it.

I moved my mods folder and deleted the localthumbcache.package file, and tried to save just an empty room, and the same crash happened, even with a brand new save. I can save the lot fine, it only happens with saving a room. I completely disabled onedrive so it shouldn't supposed to run, and I only use Windows Defender, I don't have any other antivirus program.

Saving a lot/sim worked fine, I only had problem with saving room. But after doing the suggested steps it seems to work fine again, so I'm not sure what caused the problem. I tested with my mods too and it works now, so I consider this problem solved. Thank you for the help I appretiate it.
