game crashing after installing eco living

@slerette82994  Does a new save crash, or just this one?  Please test if you haven't already.

And if you get an error code, please post a screenshot of it.

I am having similar issues. I was playing with a sim at the university and all of a sudden she couldn't attend classes. Nothing happened. So I saved and exited to main menu to try and reload the save and see if that fixed the problem. 

After that, it would crash every time I tried to reload that game. I created a new game and I am able to exit out and reload that save with no problem. It's just the game that I have invested a bunch of time into that is affected, it seems. There is no code error. I attempted to repair the game with the origin tool without any success.

Any suggestions? 

@puzzlezaddict Thank you! That worked for me. It undid a few hours of work, but at least it's back! I appreciate you so much. 

I'm also having this problem.

My game crashes when I boot up the game, go into the neighborhood, and try to play my household.

I followed this advice, and so far, my game is working again without crashing. I will post again if the crashes continue, but I think this has fixed it! Thank you!
