game crashing after update

hallo, i have just updated my game, and since then the game will freeze and crash. i have never played with mods, and this is a new (6 month) gaming laptop. i can only play the game for about 2 hours, befor the thing crashes. i thought it might be becouse my savefile was to big, so i made a new one, with only a normal siced house, and it still crashed. the game crashes so freguently that it has become unplayable.

  • My game has been crashing as well. I updated it a few days ago and immediately noticed that loading times became really slow. I don’t use any mods, so that’s not the issue. Yesterday, it started crashing consistently—especially when I travel from Strangerville to Evergreen Harbor. I updated my graphics driver, hoping that might help, and I also deleted some older save files I no longer use. Unfortunately, the crashes are still happening.

My game has been crashing after the most recent update as well. It crashes every time I travel to a lot, every time someone invites me out over the phone, and more recently, every time I try to manually save (the game crashes before it saves, so everything is lost). Even untouched, the game will crash within 30 minutes or less. It's extremely frustrating as the game is unplayable at this point. Repairing the game didn't fix the issue. This happened to me with the update that came out during Lovestruck as well. Guess I'll have to wait tp play until EA releases a bug fix :/

  • djurhuus7  Please remove your Mods folder if you haven't already.  If that doesn't or didn't help, please provide a dxdiag, as described above.
