Game Crashing/Getting Stuck on Loading Screen

I do play on a laptop, but I updated my game on 9/21. At that time, I also purchased and downloaded Storybook Nursery and Crystal Creations. After I started playing the game, I ended up having issues where I'd leave my home lot and when attempting to return my game would get stuck on the loading screen. I wasn't even able to right-click on the game in my taskbar to close it, I'd have to open up my Task Manager to end up closing it. This would happen every time I attempted to restart the game. I tried restarting my computer and attempted to repair my game multiple times. After attempting to launch my most recent saved game and getting stuck on the initial loading screen, I ended up deciding to uninstall the game and remove all my previous saved files. I was hopeful that when re-installing, it would fix the issue. Unfortunately, that did not fix it. I opened my game this morning and saw that it had another update. I updated my game in hopes that the issue would be resolved but the issue is still occurring. I'm not exactly sure what to do next but I am getting frustrated attempting to fix this. 

I also do not have any mods. The only additions I have are the game expansions.
