Game file can't be added into EA folder because its "open" but it isn't

    @thecornlady  Try pausing OneDrive syncing, which you can do by right-clicking the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen.  And restart your computer.

    Please also keep in mind that if you move the old Sims 4 folder back into the Electronic Arts folder, you're just reintroducing the problem.  It would be best to move individual folders one at a time, testing along the way to make sure the game still runs.  If it doesn't, you'll know something in the folder you moved is the culprit.

@puzzlezaddictHey so I did everything including moving the individual folders, but I still need help if you are available. Which folders am I moving into the EA folder? I understand I need to move all of the required folders that help the game run. But is there a list of all required folders that help the game run? I'm asking because I want to make sure I'm doing this right so my game runs correctly again.

I was able to fix it! It took me a while to actually sit down and start moving files, and then I had to reread your suggestion a couple of times but once I understood, it fixed the game with all of my CC/mods and saves functioning again! You're such a great helper and I hope the rest of the Sims 4 community recognizes that!! :D If I ever have any more issues, you might just be the first person I'll go to lol!
