Game crashes when i try load a (any) household. I can start the game, create a sim and choose a house > game freezes and i can not do anything. First time it happened was MondayI had mods in the game but now removed all.I tried : repair the game with origin , remove mod & tray folder, removed the sims 4 game folder out of Documents and i uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. I also updated windows + graphic card drivers and run the dxdiag .. i do not know what else do look for

@bubblefiu2142 Does this happen on a specific save only or also when you start a new one for testing purposes ?

It happened 1st during a game play > I assumed mods as cause and removed all. Now it's a fresh installed game version without anything (no mods no tray no saved files) it still crashes upon "moving in" it doesn't matter if I create a new household or try to play one already in the world. I can start the game- create a household & move in a house or empty lot> freeze game nothing possible after this point.
As mentioned I tried everything I could think about including repairs, new installation and deleting everything in user documents and its still freezing at the same point.

@bubblefiu2142 its not a mod issue. there's something with the game code causing it. lots [of people] are having this issue. it started in november when the patch came out. dunno if snowy escape plays a role but it happened after i got that.

@bubblefiu2142 Do you have any files called lastcrash.txt ? If so, could you upload that ? You need to either create a rar file to upload or c/p the content

There was no "last crash" only last exception once in a while but since I removed every mods and completely reinstalled the game no error file was created. I am currently working on a second new installation of everything (without mods) and will update if or if it's not working.

Update we did a complete new windows installation on top of the sims new installation it helped a while and then keeps crashing again
I seems like an old issue : my game "appear to be using a ridiculously high amount of disk space/RAM when Origin is in use. This is causing the crashes."

Any solutions? It's not my computers fault it should handle the game without any issues.

Task manager screen shot sims uses 2.829.3 mb of memory and power between moderate to very high
I doesn't matter if I change game graphics to low
I can start the game, create a sim and choose a household and then it freeze and I have to shut it down over task manager
It doesn't matter what world or family I choose soon as it loads the house it stops working

That is not a high usage of memory for Sims.

sorry i do not know what is or is not normal for sims.. all i know is my game stopped working and somehow i can not fix it
