Game Freezes_Jul 2025

I'm not sure what's causing this but cannot get trough a sim day lately without it freezing each time at about 10-11pm and I cannot do anything. I've saved in several different places, tried different variations of game play and the same thing happens regardless. And it just started happening within the last day or so and I am not sure why. I do have mods...so I'm sending to this all my fellow modders as well. Not  sure if this is because of the update or a faulty mod. Has anyone else been having this issue? If so, any thoughts?

    KERRYKELLY123​  A lot of mods broke with the July 1 patch, and some of the creators have deliberately not updated because they're hoping EA fixes an underlying issue rather than the creators having to work around it.  So I wouldn't be surprised if your mods are acting up.  And mods can sometimes corrupt individual sims even after the mods are removed.

    Whether it's worth troubleshooting further is always up to you.  If you don't mind moving on to new sims, that's fine.  Just le tme know if you'd like any more help with this.

    I don't have a conclusive answer; only the problem did go away. I took all of my mods out and checked...everything was fine. I slowly started putting things back. No issues. Eventually everything was back except my personal saves...still fine. I put in my saves and decided to load up a different household to see if the problem was fixed then....yes it was gone. Went back to the family I was playing initially and not the exact issue occurred but I did lose the ability to control those sims...it was all very weird. I don't think it's a mod but honestly I do not know. Ended up just deleting those sims and re-creating another copy of them from the gallery. It's amazing how many times I have to do this actually...but I sim a lot and I have a ton of mods and in 2025 I guess this is just a part of a daily simmers life haha.
