Time/Sim freezes while environment still moves

Hello, thanks for your attention to this matter! :) 

Fixes I tried but didn't work:
- Resetting the household and sims individually
- Repairing the game multiple times
- Deleted all the game files, relaunched the game as a clean slate, moved the save files back in one at a time. 
- Disabled Life & Death, relaunched the game, then reenabled it. 
- Had a few saves labelled as "save000000a", so deleted some of my older unplayed save files and relabeled them to be numbered (save00000001 ,save00000002, etc)
- I think I tried moving them to a different house as well at one point and still had the issue (then I had to force close the game so I couldn't even save the game so I could reload them on the new lot). 

Fixes I didn't try:
- Deleting my trays
- Moving some of the sims out of the household to see if it was just the lot or the house specific (I was considered about spreading the issue). 
- An entirely clean uninstall/reinstall 

Current Fix:
Unfortunately the only fix I found that worked was completely deleting that specific family and the lot (I even replaced the lot entirely and changed the lot type). But it should keep the entire game file intact and I haven't had this issue with any other household in that save as I've been actively playing even yesterday (original issue reported 11 days ago). 

Other game and household details:
- One of the sims in this house I cheated to have grim reaper traits (using 'traits.equip_trait isGrimReaper [Sim ID]') prior to the Life & Death pack (I unequipped and reequipped it more than once). This Sim also had the glitch of being constantly abducted by aliens.
- I also took that family from one save, uploaded them to the gallery and downloaded them into an older save.
- The lot had the trait On Hallowed Grounds. 
- Had a Sim in college
- I don't play with mods (the last time I did was a few years ago so there's nothing in that folder either)
- Seemed to be triggered specifically after I saved the game once. 

this happens occasionally in TS since the time of TS1 and I've always dealt with it by clicking "save", it takes a long time to save but in most cases it resumes normally, but it doesn't work  every time.

rickycanaja Yeah, I remember it vividly from Sims 3. It's usually something blocking the game from going on, broken alarms as NRaas called in Sims 3

It's is basically just a symptom.

Maybe I was just not patient enough with it (typically takes less than a minute to save my game in every other household), but it never saved for me, just got stuck and I had to force through the task manager because alt+f4 also didn't bring up the "do you want to save before quitting" message that it will sometimes.

I’m on Xbox 1s and I have no mods, just the base game, I am also finding that when I command them to shower for example, other people are still doing whatever but my player just stands still staring. Cannot switch if possible to other house sims if they don’t live alone. 
Different to the other comments, my Sims hygiene moodlet doesn’t improve. I have to save and exit to the Worlds / Main menu to go back to the household for it to then ‘refresh’ and work. Thanks !
