Game keeps Crashing

Hello.  my game keeps crashing.

this started happening after i bought a few expansion packs for the 25th birthday event.  i have uninstalled and reinstalled. i have checked that my software is up to date.  i have an almost brand new pradator gaming computer with all the specs to run the game.  plenty of memory.  i do not play with mods. i did download a couple houses and a few sims from the gallery, but when i couldnt figure out why i was crashing, i deleted them.  sometimes it will crash before i even get into my game.  and sometimes it will crash in the middle of the game.  usually within the first 5 minutes.  after i crash i have to start all over on the emit relevart tasks because for some reason they reset, even if i have saved after i complete each task.  its extremely frustrating.

the packs i own: horse ranch. werewolves. vampires. strangerville. snowy escape. seasons.  romantic garden stuff. realm of magic. perfect patio stuff. paranormal stuff. outdoor retreat. my first pet stuff.  movie hangout. jungle adventure. island living. holiday celebration. get together. get to work. cottage living. cool kitchen stuff.  cats & dogs. blooming rooms kit. backyard stuff. life of the party digital content. up all night digital content.

when the game crashes it gives me a lastcrash.txt or lastexception.txt files but i dont know how to read them.

someone please help its really making me just not want to play anymore.  i have attached my last lastcrash.txt file from when i last crashed about 10 minutes ago.

  • AftonAftermathh  If you haven't already, please try playing in a clean user folder.  Move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents > Electronic Arts and onto your desktop.  When you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content.  (Your saves and other content will be intact in the folder you've moved but temporarily unread by the game.)  Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.

If you get another crash, please provide a dxdiag.  Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop.  From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.

You can also upload a lastexception if you want.  Open the file and delete the first line of text, then attach it the same way.  Please delete all the current LEs you have and look for a new one associated with the most recent crash, or let me know that one wasn't created.
