Game not loading correctly

I've been having this problem for over a month now in which my The Sims 4 doesn't open the right way and whenever i click on "Resume Game", it will keep loading for hours without any positive outcome. I've contacted the EA Help team and none of them could solve the problem. I tried deleting and downloading again the game on my own and it didn't work. I also tried to "repair" but nothing happens. The help staff told me to reboot the game, the computer, to enable and disable various programs, I even went on the app and lowered all the graphics settings as per required in the helping instructions. I also want to clarify that the game (app) opens just fine, it's just that it doesn't let me resume my previous plays. I updated the game a couple times and I also updated my computer. The helpers told me they'd report my problem to the developers but can I know a way I can solve this problem as soon as possible?
