Game not loading

For the past month or so I’ve been unable to play the sims. Every time I load my game it works fine but once I try to load my save file it literally does not load. I’ve tried deleting and disabling my mods and cc but even that doesn’t work, what should I do?

Hi, I also started having this issue yesterday. I did some troubleshooting.
    - It's just one family in my save that won't load.
    - I removed all mods and cc & then repaired the game.
    - I can access the house through build mode / if I evict and move another family in, it's fine.
    - The family has a Dad, Mum (who I've played since baby), 3 infants, a dog and a cat.
If I move the mum and infants out, I can load the file with the Dad and pets.
But the mum won't load on her own, and I tried one of the infants with the Dad and that didn't load.

I did what you said above, and here is the lastexception file that got created after re-trying after deleting the other files.

  • Kuhwahmee  Please open Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 and delete any lastexception files you see.  Try again to load your main household in your main save, and when it doesn't work, look for a new lastexception.  If you find one, open the file, delete its first line of text, and attach it to a reply here using the paper clip (Attachment) icon.  Alternately, you can copy the text and paste it into a reply, but sometimes this site's spam filter flags posts with this kind of text in them.

When testing, please remove your Mods folder entirely.  Disabling mods isn't always as thorough as the setting's name would suggest.
