Game randomly kicks me out after a period of time.

 Hoping by responding here, it will let me follow the solution, I am having the same exact issue. 

Had this same exact issue today.  I spent a few hours building a church for the decades challenge then shared it on the gallery in one save file that I use for building stuff in and then I went back to the main menu and loaded up my decades save file and placed the lot down.  Then I clicked on my family and then had it almost load in when my game randomly closed itself out.  I was able to relaunch the game then play for a little bit more without any issues.
