Game says I cant save due to fire. But the fire has been put out!

Hi. I need help.

I have this glitch/bug in the game that makes me unabled to go to another house, save game or go in to buy mode, make phone calls or anything that happens during a fire.

You see; I did have a fire. But it's out now. Yet the game won't let me save or go in to buy mode or anything!

Please give me a quick answer, so that I can save my game.


FYI I have googled this before, and the cheats like"fire.kill" doesnt make anything happen. I have testingcheats on.

    How long have you waited ?

    I don't think there's much you can do if the game doesn't register the game as put out properly.

    Has it been a while since you last saved ?

    Yeah it was hours before... I tried to use cheats to get around it. Tried to go to CAS via testingcheats but when i came back it all started from the last save -.- so it went ruined anyways.

    Thanks mate for your concern. I hope EA fixes this glitch. I reported it.

    @HLMVY I know this post is like 5 years old at this point but I had this problem too. Type in cc.ignoregamplay and that seemed to work for me
