Get Famous Hair and Makeup interaction issues

In the acting career when doing a gig, one of the first interactions you have to do is get your hair and makeup done. Whenever I try to do this, the makeup artist does my hair and makeup, but my sim doesn't like it and shakes her head. I have to retry the interaction several times, sometimes over 5 times, to get my sim to like it and complete the interaction. It takes up a lot of time and sometimes I don't even have enough time to get my costume, practice, or perform the scenes! Is this supposed to happen or is it a glitch?
