@gregory6ag  There's no way to free up the code again, even if you deleted the old account.  The only option you have here is to merge the two accounts.  You'll need to contact EA customer support for that, and you'll also need to be able to prove you own both accounts.  Typically, support would send a verification code to the email associated with each account.

It's unfortunate the support reps you've already talked to didn't explain this, but perhaps it wasn't clear to them what you needed.  I would suggest using live chat rather than email next time so you can explain further if necessary.  If you don't see the option, try this link:

Make sure you're signed into an EA site (this one is fine) before clicking the link and that the location in the lower-right corner of the browser window is set to U.S. or U.K.
