Get to work won't let me do apb

So I brought the sims get to work yesterday and I can't complete a day of work? On the detective job the first day it wouldn't let me go to the crime scene on the crime map (the option never came up or on the computer and floor) and now on the second day it won't let me do the apb?? I'm really upset as I've just brought this and I can't even play properly ☹️ I've removed CC so that's not the problem any ideas on how to fix this?? You can see what I mean in the picture provided

You do need to complete the first day, that is the tutorial day. Stay late if needed.

Exit the game, if it is running. Open Origin and right click on the game then, choose REPAIR. Try it again and see if that works.

Note that to issue an APB in the detective career, you need to have enough clues about the suspect to make an arrest likely. You may need to go back to the crime scene to get more clues, analyze evidence or add information to the database before you can add more clues to the map and be able to issue an APB.

Thank you I'll give it a go, I'm only on the second day so I would assume it's a tutorial I'll let you know how it goes

Might have been a one time glitch, might be you just missed something the first time or, maybe repair fixed whatever made it glitch the first time. Whatever the case, I'm glad it's okay now. That is a fun career after the first couple of days.

Yeah it was a glitch ^^ I think repair fixed it but I still had to start from scratch again lucky it was a new sim! I'm not sure why it did it but I just couldn't go any further even tho it said I had the clues! Oh well I've spent all day on it now and progressed so far xD
