Glitch when entering Build Mode

If I open any savegame (or start a new one), it works fine. then when I go in Build Mode, the 'Manage Worlds'-button immediately disappears. When in the second tab in build mode (where the collapsable menu is that contains all categories of furniture) I hear the sound when I click it, but nothing happens. The menu does not appear. When I go back into Live Mode, nothing works anymore. I hear the clicks but all the buttons are numb now. It does not respond to keys like ctrl+shift+c or escape.

Everything is fine until I enter Build mode, then everything falls apart 😛 Removing my Mod Folder did not work, making a backup and launching the game then moving everything back didn't work and repairing the game in Origin didn't work either. CAS works fine.

    It's fixed! I needed to delete my UI-Extension files. Yay!

    Hi 
    @DougBeer  if you mean the 'mod' by Weerbesu (ui cheats extension) that has been updated, and he now hosts these mods at Patreon.. Outdated mods can cause major issues, perhaps also check the Broken Mods Tracker for any other out of date mods you may have. There's also my post here on maintaining your game with mods/cc that may help in the future as mods and cc require a lot of maintenance to keep them in your game, and is always a first step with major game issues.. 🙂

    i'm having kinda the same problem..... i go into build mode my camera to record and the lot thing to make the walls show/hide is gone, and build mode for stuff to build houses is gone

    @Hjeromin Are you using the Cheat UI Extension Mod ? If so, make sure to get the newest version.

    no i believe i wasn't but i fixed it via removing my mods folder and the UI files
