Granite falls!??? Can’t use it 😑
It says I have to change a lot back to rental unit. Idk how to do that and I haven’t even used it so how can that be...??? Refund? Or help?

try entering the world in Build mode on any of the lots. You should be able to do that from manage world.
Do you have the same issue if you start a new game for testing purposes ?
Are you using any mods in your game ?
How do I do that ??? And yes I’ve tired a new game before as well as taking out all my mods and that’s what it says.
1. Go to Manage world
2. Click on the World Icon
3. Click on the Sun Icon
4. Click on Granite Falls
5. You should now be on the map of GF
6. Choose any lot and click on the build mode item in the lower right corner to enter build mode
If that doesn't work, it sounds like an incompatible mod, so try below.Try resetting your user files as described in the factory reset described in this post: http://answers.ea.com/t5/The-Sims-4/FAQ-Troubleshooting-Steps-amp-Known-Issues/m-p/3621199
You won't loose anything. Just make sure to not delete any files and make a backup.
After renaming, repair your game by right clicking on the game in Origin.
Try on a new game with nothing added back first (start new game). If it works, put back your save game and try again. If it still works, you can start putting stuff back.
- Options.ini (or just re-set all your settings manually)
- Tray Folder
- Screenshots/Videos/Custom music
- Rest of the save games (leave out slot_00000001.save which is the autosave and no longer needed - if you still have it)
- Custom content like clothing, hair, skins, make up ....
- Mods (one by one, making sure they all still work)
The rest does not need putting back, cause they are mostly cache files that recreate or log files that are not needed for the game.
