growing together won’t download
i just got a new laptop and i’m downloading all my sims packs but growing together won’t download. it just says “something went wrong try..” i also got a pop up about my pre-order method not working and to check my purchase status. at the time i pre-ordered i thought i could afford it, but when the time came i didn’t have the money. and i couldn’t cancel it. so i ultimately ordered it off cd keys a few months later and it worked just fine. now it won’t download at all, but it shows it as being owned. help is much appreciated.
@alainamarie97 Did your pre-order ever get properly cancelled? To check, go to ea.com, sign in, and open Account Settings > Order History. It's possible that a Processing or Failed payment is blocking your ability to use the pack even though you have a separate working copy on your account.
If this is the problem, you'll need to contact EA customer support for help removing the transaction. Make sure the support rep doesn't also remove your working copy of Growing Together. As a side note, CD Keys is not a supported retailer, and support will typically not help with issues related to content purchased from it or other unapproved vendors. But if the CD Keys product code is in fact valid (and I can't tell from here, but it might be), then it's not relevant where you bought it and you can focus on the attempted purchase from EA.
