Have baby at hospital not working

A similar thread by Hi_its_nobody from 2018 was labeled as FIXED, but I still frequently get the glitch. I am creating a new thread as a result.

Product: The Sims 4
Platform: PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Almost every time (4/5)

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a sim get pregnant and be in labor, send them to the hospital but go with them. I usually bring the spouse of the pregnant sim as well. After either sim checks in, they will stand around doing nothing. It can go on indefinitely, and the option to check-in still pops up. The baby will not be delivered until you give up and return home.

What do you expect to see? When you join your sim to have a baby, the sim will have the baby.

Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Yes, some CAS items and UI cheats, but it has worked with them before. The glitch occurs without them installed to my mods folder. 

Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure 

My game is fully up to date with all packs except kits as of Tuesday, June 15, 2021.
