Help Recovering Lost Data
Hello,
I factory reset my windows PC and restarted sims to find my girlfriend's 150+ hour save is nowhere to be found except for 2 characters she made that she saw on the sims library/gallery (I don't play sims im not sure what the correct location is). Is there any way to recover this save? Is there auto-saves located on a cloud somewhere? does EA save ANY data from people's saves, even temporarily? This happened very recently (within the past week). She is absolutely heartbroken her save is not there and so would I if none of the world could be recovered. BTW the save file in file explorer is completely empty and OneDrive does not have it saved.

@i_flerb No, unfortunately there's nowhere else to look. EA doesn't support cloud saves for Sims 4, leaving only the local copy of the user data. Since you wiped the computer and OneDrive doesn't have a backup (please do look in OneDrive's recycle bin if you haven't already), that local copy is gone.
You might be tempted to use a data-recovery tool to try to find the save, but I'll tell you that I've never seen it work for Sims 4 saves. Even the paid tools don't recover enough data for the game to use the affected saves.
