HELP! sims 4 build & buy mode glitch

When i exit build and buy mode after I've purchased something all of the control panels are gone. I cant do anything; i can't save, i can't exit the game, i can't control my sim, nothing! I end up having to switch off my computer and when i load the game back up it obviously hasn't saved and it happens every time i exit build & buy mode. I have no mods, no expansion packs, no add ons or anything like that.

    Log in on your Origin account. Click Origin icon on the desktop. When Origin will open, choose My games library and TS4 will show up

    @crinrict Hi, if you see this my game is doing the same thing but repairing it didn't work. Nor did uninstalling and restarting my computer. Should I just go to EA?

    The advise in here might not be the most relevant as it's a older thread. Please open a new thread and include any additional information that may help, like: do you have mods installed and what troubleshooting you've tried so far, etc.
