Help! Sims 4 laggy after recent patch update.

Question

Sims 4 is taking ages to load on the loading page then when I eventually get to the live mode after 45mins of waiting... the time has frozen and will not run. Trees are still moving etc.

I have MODS which I turned off and still not working.

I have updated my drivers and still nothing.

I have even uninstalled and reinstalled and nothing.

Any help appreciated.

@spana1990  Did you have a Winterfest at some point after the Nov patch ?Does it work for another save game ?

Thank you for your reply.Same thing happens with save game yes.Yes I did have a Winterfest and Father Winter didn't arrive.
