ntiwa3mygj0q Please open both Steam and the EA App before trying to launch Sims 4. Make sure both apps are fully loaded: you can see your game libraries, friends lists, etc.
If that doesn't help, please provide a dxdiag. Click Windows key-R, enter dxdiag in the run box, wait for the scan to finish, click "Save all information," and save the file to your desktop. From there, you can attach it to a reply using the paper clip (Attachment) icon included with the other formatting buttons.
Please also let me know whether the game has ever worked properly on this computer.

ntiwa3mygj0q I believe the issue is that your computer's page file is almost all used, and because there isn't much space left on your system drive, the computer can't or won't increase the size of the page file. This is where the processor stores data that would normally be in RAM but doesn't fit, and with only 8 GB physical memory, the page file is going to be in play when you run a demanding app like Sims 4.
Point is, please clear another 15 GB, at least, on your C drive. You can see the free and total space by opening a File Explorer window and clicking This PC in the left panel. Restart your computer afterwards.
Try again to play, and if you can't, manually increase the size of the page file. (The system may increase it for you once there's more space, but if not, you can do so yourself.) Here's how (option three):

Set the minimum to 16384 and the max to 20480, and restart your computer, then try again to play.
