Horse ranch code/preorder content issues

I recently bought a growing together game code and typed the code in and got the outdoor playtime content, but I didn't get the actual expansion pack. Can someone help? Its been almost a week and I'm running out of hope that I will be able to get Growing Together

I purchased The sims 4 Horse Ranch expansion pack through the CD-Keys online store, i bought every expansion pack there but with this new pack when i got to the redeem code everything was exactly the same before download the pack. I confirmed when it said code accepted and after that i clicked download and i thought it was downloading but when i checked in download manager it was empty. So i restarted my pc and it wasn't there after the restart i cleared sims 4 cache and reinstalled every pack and it still wasn't there so i thought it was downloaded and launched the game but the pop up with all new build and CAS items wasn't showing. I was confused so i checked my packs page in game and it said "You already own this item" but when i check all add-ons for the sims 4 it says i need to buy it. I already started my case in EA Helper but it didn't help at all.

@ludi_mudan  Does the pack show as owned and installed in the EA App, under Sims 4 > Manage > Manage add-ons?

Hi, im having the same issue however I do NOT have CAS Demo installed on my laptop. Nor do I have Steam or Origin. My friend got a code on Amazon for Horse Ranch to give me for my bday. I redeemed it on the EA app, confirmed, clicked download, and went about my day, not playing. A few days later I come on to play and it says I need an update. So I do, and now Horse ranch says it is not in my Add ons, that I have to buy it, but that my code has already been redeemed when I try to use it again thinking it didnt confirm. I log out, restart my computer, repair, clear cache, uninstall and reinstall The Sims 4, look at FAQ's, youtube videos, forums, I reached out to EA help and NOTHING has worked. I look where you say to search for CAS demo, I dont have it anywhere. But I do see that EP14 was in my "programfiles/ ea games/Sims 4/ Delta" folder AND my "programfiles/ea games /sims 4" folder. Yet EA wont read it in my game at all? I took out mods and played and exited, ive done basically everything I can think of or find online. Someone please help ☹️(

Simple issue, but there doesn't seem like a simple solution to this.

A friend purchased the Sims 4 Horse Ranch Expansion Pack for me through Amazon. I entered the product code in the EA app and it was accepted. After that, no download was prompted nor did a download button appear. When I load the game, there is no Horse Ranch content in there. Amazon did their part by providing a correct product code that EA accepted. EA has yet to provide any download for said expansion pack.

The EA support kept sending me here to get my issue resolved so I am hoping folks can help me with this.

Hi sorry I don't mean to be a nuisance, but I have been dealing with my issue for 2 weeks and I am so tired of EA support giving me the run around over email. I've asked them to just give me a new code or a refund or something but they just keep sending me articles and telling me to talk to Amazon (like they would have any clue?). Is there anything in my case that looks like a solution I can do? Thank you! @puzzlezaddict 

@Darlab949  Amazon has been providing two codes for Horse Ranch: one for the pack itself, and one for the pre-order content.  So if you only registered the one code, you may have received the pre-order content but not the pack itself.  (And the EA App might have confused the issue by downloading the pack and then not letting it load after the fact.  The App can be helpful like that.)  Point is, please ask your friend to check their purchase history for a second code, and if they find one, try registering that too.

You're not a nuisance at all.  The EA App is a nuisance, as are all these third-party sellers that know they're supposed to provide two codes but only issue one or hide the second code where no one ever finds it.  If the above is your issue, you'd be one of a number of Amazon customers who didn't find the other code until someone told them where to look.

Damn, after 2 weeks of back and forth between EA (with them knowing from email #1 that I had received an AMAZON code mind you), they didn't even bring that up! They just said "contact your retailer"  and sent me 40 articles from EA Help... I asked my friend to send me a picture of her order and yep, right under the code I received from her was another code. I redeemed that and loaded in, sure as hell Horse Ranch is up and going now. I cannot begin to tell you how relieved and happy I am! Thank you so so so much, I dont think you get paid to answer these questions but honestly you should LOL You are amazing @puzzlezaddict
