How and Where do I install a new Mods folder for Sims 4 on my D Drive?

I installed my sims 4 game on my D drive, and the folders all look different as the ones I installed on my C drive and I just can´t find a mods folder or any other folders I used to have and don´t know where to create a new one. (I haven´t installed any mods yet) But the game works. 

Can somebody help me?

    Can I clarify a few things, please?

    • Are you on Mac or PC?
    • By what method did you install the game on the D drive, and are you sure that the game is acknowledging that it is pulling from/using that particular installation?
    • What looks different in the file system?

    Such a small explanation.
    The game can be installed either on C or on the D drive in the Program Filles folder. But by design, the current game folder will always be in Documents on C Drive unless you move the Documents folder to D drive and you do not change the installation path of the current game folder, which is more complicated.
    So your current game remains on C Drive in Documents and you just look into the installation folder which, of course, looks completely different.
