So with the sale this week, I want to buy a couple of the expansion packs for the Sims4, and give them to my kids for Christmas. However, I don't want them to know that I have bought them obviously.
So how can I buy them now, but prevent them from seeing that they are available to be installed?

Sorry, but that is not possible to do.
Expansion packs are sold in other retailers, you could buy them somewhere else and give them to your kids for Christmas. 🙂

Thanks Mai for your quick reply. That is no good though, as most of these items don't seem to be on sale elsewhere.
Any idea if I create a new account, and buy the titles as a gift for my main account, would I then be able to activate them at Christmas time?

Which packs are you planning on buying? There are some physical bundles like this one. If you tell me which games were you thinking of buying maybe I can help.
Sadly, gifts are sent immediately, so that wouldn't be an option either. ☹️

@TheHeathen17 Buy the physical media and that comes with a card with a code which you can redeem on Origin and get the download version.
