but when i installed the app, i was not asked to choose a language( when can i change it during installation?
@AnnaKlatis The initial pop-up that asks where you'd like to install Sims 4, or any other game, also shows the language the game will be installed in. You would have had to click through this pop-up before the install process started. This is separate from the language of the App itself.
