How do I move harvested foods from family inventory into fridge?

Question

After moving household into new home, I am unable to transfer the harvested food items from family inventory into fridge in new home. I didn't take the old fridge when moving, only the food in it. I've tried replacing the new fridge and have searched threads/posts for hours for an answer.

moved this to Sims 4 for now but is this about Sims 3 or 4 ?

Hmm, an interesting problem. I wonder...can you "place in world" (put it somewhere in the new house), go back to live mode and drag it to fridge? Kind of a workaround but worth it if works, eh.

Note: I've not tried this idea myself. It's just a theory.
