How do I reduce Sims 4 Lag?
hello! i’m in desperate need of help, my sims 4 game is having major lag. fps is going around 20 and below. i have around 300cc and a few mods. my mods aren’t out of date and i’ve tried a lot of the simple methods to stop lag, like removing all my cache, going offline, turning off online features, and my graphics are on all low. please help, i’m desperate lol
@cyberstxr Please let me know how a new save runs in a clean user folder. Move your entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, and when you launch the game, a clean folder will spawn with no content. (Your saves and other content will be in the folder you've moved but temporarily not read by the game.) Don't add anything to the new folder yet; just start a new save and see how it runs.
