How long does The Sims 4 Digital Deluxe version take to download?

I downloaded The Sims 4 and it has been all night and it still says "Preparing Download". Is this supposed to happen? Does it normally take this long?

    Try pausing and resuming the download. And make sure no security software is blocking the connection.
