how to change the language with the new ea app????

hello! i am looking to change my sims game language to spanish, and when i looked up how to do this online, it said to use the drop box menu under advanced launch options in game properties… one small issue: there is no drop box, just a box that you have to type in, and i dont know what to do?

    @aleksandra_now1  There's no way to change the language of a game within the EA App.  The instructions you've found are for Origin, so the simplest workaround is to install Origin and change the language there.  Then you can go back to using the EA App if you prefer.

    You can have the App and Origin installed on the same computer, you just can't run them both at the same time.  If you get an error when trying to install or open Origin, simply restart your computer and try again.

    OHHHH yeah you are right, thank you!!! i forgot the ea app was different to origin lol

    But when I downloaded Origin back, I got a pop-up (unclosable) from EA app telling me to download EA app which will uninstall Origin

    @donut151333  Right, this thread was created and answered in September, when Origin still worked in Windows.  The only way to change the language in the EA App is to uninstall and reinstall the game in question.

    Hello,

    Do you know how to change the game language to Finnish in the new EA App? I tried playing Sims 4 and the game is in English... and it doesn't ask for the game language during installation.

    @Mansku95 

    You can not change it in the EA App. You need to uninstall the Sims 4 and when you reinstall it choose Finnish language.

    But there is no option for Finnish.

    @Mansku95  That's the setting for the EA App itself, and it should have nothing to do with your in-game language options.  What language options do you see when installing Sims 4?  If it's already installed in English, you'll need to uninstall and reinstall to find out, since that's the only way to change the in-game language.
