@gamerluke47 Please post a screenshot showing the white outline. You can put the game into windowed mode and use Windows key-shift-S to capture the portion of the screen you want to show.
Hi, I was unable to screenshot due to it not showing up when being screenshotted but I was able to take it with my phone.
@gamerluke47 That looks more like a monitor issue than anything having to do with Sims 4. Do you play other games on this computer, and do you also see the white line? Does the line appear when you're playing Sims 4 in windowed mode?
Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

Hi, This issue is only on The sims I have tried other games and this issue has not been shown.
@gamerluke47 I'd like to see a dxdiag please.
@puzzlezaddict Hi sorry I have been away for a few days But here is a dxdig.
@gamerluke47 Your dxdiag lists a few errors related to Intel graphics software. These might be unrelated to the Sims 4 issues, but it's a good idea to check which GPU the game is using. Go into Documents > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4, open Config.log, copy the first 40 or so lines (stop when you get to Options), and paste them here. You can delete your user and computer names, about 20 lines down; the file doesn't contain any other identifying information.
And please let me know whether you still see the white line when you play Sims 4 in windowed mode. The setting is with the other graphics options. After switching, quit the game and restart your computer, then load and look for the line again.
- @puzzlezaddict Hi I have done the steps with the windowed mode the white lines still show.
- @puzzlezaddict the GPU the game is using is the NVIDIA RTX 3060
Here is a screenshot of the config log.
