@Scardie Unfortunately, this can be a stubborn error. You can certainly try the troubleshooting steps in this thread and this similar one:

restart your computer, and repair the game again.
If that doesn't help, move the entire Sims 4 folder out of Documents\Electronic Arts and onto your desktop, clear Origin's cache and repair again, and see whether the Sims Delivery works this time.
For your existing saves, move one of them from the old Sims 4 folder to the new one and see whether it loads. (Don't move over any other files, at least not yet.) Saves are located in the saves folder, naturally.
Hey, Im having the same problem. The sim delivery thing wont download either and I get the same error code. Also, when I want to start a new game after setting up my characters it wont work. I also cannot load my characters in the library. The fix didnt work for me but I think I did everything right. I hope to get help even though Im responding 4 weeks later.

@yctitte So you cleared Origin's cache and repaired the game, and you also moved the Sims 4 user folder to the desktop, and you still got the same error? If so, please let me know what antivirus you use. Please also run a dxdiag and attach it to a post.

I am using the windows defender antivirus. I am attaching the DxDiag - some words are in german and I hope if wont be a big problem.
@yctitte Don't worry about the late reply, or the German in your dxdiag. Most of a dxdiag's info is in either English or Windowsspeak, and the rest is names that are self-evident in any language.
Your dxdiag lists a number of Origin crashes, so the place to start is with a clean uninstall and reinstall of Origin.
Next, download the full Origin installer and run it. Here's the direct download link:

Be sure to run both the installer and Origin itself as an admin: right-click on each and select "Run as Administrator." Try repairing Sims 4 again, then updating.
If you get the same error, please create a new admin Windows account on your computer and try repairing and updating Sims 4 in that account. Make it a local account, as in, don't sign into Microsoft, and don't sync with any other services you normally use. The username should contain only letters and numbers, no special characters, and no umlauts for that matter, just to be on the safe side.
i am also having the same problem as the person you replied to back in february (@yctitte) i did everything you listed and it still is giving me the error, i recently deleted all my mods and started over, then redownloaded a bunch of mods so idk if that is it, but when i try to go to the game after i make my sim character it gets stuck loading and then i have to reset game… not sure what to do at this point 😭 ik this was awhile ago, hope someone can help me !
@francescaalyx Has your current Sims 4 user folder, the one in Documents > Electronic Arts, ever had mods in it? If so, please move it to the desktop, again, and don't add anything to it. If you get an error when trying to move the folder, or it copies instead of moving, let me know.
Please also try pausing OneDrive syncing before you play. The option shows up when you right-click the cloud icon in the lower-right corner of the screen. This can get around the Sims Delivery Express errors as well as any problems moving the Sims 4 user folder.
