how to get out of moving mode
I was trying to figure out how to travel and since I never played before I was looking around all the buttons and I accidently his move. I have been trying to get out of it but I just don't know how....

Someone your game reverted to the first move in situation.
Try the following
- Backup your saves folder: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\saves
- Start the game and hit the continue button (assuming you don't have a load button)
- Move the Sim into any house
- Leave the game
- Start the game. You should now have a load button. Press that and see if you still have that old save where you're already moved in
