How to properly uninstall and reinstall The Sims 4?
I urgently need to format my laptop and I would like to uninstall and reinstall the Sims 4 safely, I don't want to lose my packs especially those that have been gifted to me.

@imgingercoto Your packs will stay on your account no matter how you uninstall the game or whether you format your laptop. Your content is owned by your account, not your computer.
Normally, you can simply uninstall Sims 4 through Origin, but if you're formatting your laptop, you don't even need to do that much, since the process will safely erase everything. If you want to keep your saves and other user content, put aside the Sims 4 folder in Documents >Electronic Arts, as in, save it on an external drive or USB stick, or zip it and upload it to cloud storage.
