how to update my sims 4 game so my packs can download into my game?

so, I purchased get famous and high school years and both packs are not in my game, and its keeps saying i need to update / have all the updates in order to have it install into my game, please help☹...

@naniegivencgy  What game version are you running?  Load the game to the Main Menu, where you can choose to load a save or start a new one, and look in the lower-right area of the screen or along the bottom.  Please list the entire version number, i.e. 1.xx.xxx.xxxx.
