  • @maidzky23  I'd be happy to help, but I do need to know your budget and country so I can recommend specific options.  Stock and prices can vary wildly even between neighboring countries.  Or if you prefer, you can just give me a general budget and I can list the components you'd want to look for, but that can get complicated quickly.

@maidzky23  Your price range actually makes things quite simple because there are almost always a few good options but almost never a lot.  I searched a few sites just now, and this is clearly the best option I found for $900 or less:

    https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/asus-rog-strix-g10dk-gaming-pc-grey-amd-ryzen-5-4600g-512gb-ssd-12gb-ram-geforce-gtx1660-ti-win11/15737357

Its hardware is more than capable of running everything Sims 4 can throw at it; the only slowdowns would be due to the limitations of the game itself.  The build quality of the computer is good, and it's available to be shipped, according to Best Buy.  The price is also very good, although the initial price before the discount is somewhat high.

These two are cheaper and come with the next-slower graphics card, within the overall generation, than the one above.  But this card, an Nvidia GTX 1650, is still capable of running all current Sims 4 content on ultra settings with some room to spare, so it's a very reasonable option.

I personally think the first of these two is the better option because it has 16 GB RAM, which is nice to have if not required, but the extra storage in the second one would be helpful if you plan to store a large amount of data other than Sims 4 on the computer as well.  On the other hand, both RAM and storage are very simple to upgrade; even someone with no computer knowledge could figure it out with the help of an online guide.  So you're not locked in either way.

This is another alternative to consider, with a graphics card that's about as fast as the 1650 and 16 GB RAM:

I checked a number of other sites, including Amazon and Newegg, and didn't see anything worth mentioning; most of these sites' cheapest options are well over $1000 CAD.  But if there's a specific site you want me to check, just list it.

If you have more questions in general, please feel free to ask.
