I can’t click on anything since August update.

Ever since downloading the most recent update, I can’t click on my sims or any objects in game except for the phone and calendar and such. It’s across all of my saves and any new saves. I’ve tried deleting my localthumbcache file, repairing my game, restarting my computer, removing mods and updating them, and also switching from full screen to windowed. I don’t know what else to try so any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!!
