The technical issues started when I tried to uninstall the Sims 4 on the EA when I clicked ... it wouldn't show half of the options including uninstall. I tried every single tutorial both by using EA app and Steam but even then it wouldn't show. I am very devastated because I have no idea what I should do, half of my game is already in Russian including names of cities and families.
Sorry if that's an obvious suggestion, but did you try scrolling down with your mouse on the list of the available options? I also had this issue of not having uninstall there, and turned out it was a scrollable list.
However after uninstalling the game and trying to install again, I don't even have "English" available from the dropdown in language selection, only Russian, Czech and Polish.
I reached out to support, they said it's a bug and they forwarded it to tech team and said they can't tell how long it might take to fix.
@Angellafire If you can't uninstall Sims 4, try using Revo Uninstaller (the free version is fine) instead. More details here:
Steam should offer all languages, so you should be able to choose whatever you want when reinstalling. However, existing saves may still have some Russian names.
