I can't enter a household to play (green loading symbol just shows up)

I am on the main screen that shows all of my houses that I own and I cannot enter a household to play. When I click on a household and click "enter family" (or it might be "enter household," i'm not reall ysure what it is) it brings me to a screen that shows the green diamond and that it keeps loading & loading...I am not being brought to the actual household. The screen just keeps showing the loading symbol. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!

    Do you have a lot of files in your tray folder (households and lots) ? If so, try moving that to your desktop and see if it loads then

    You'll find the folder here: documents\electronicarts\thesims4\

    Your households/lots are not lost. They are just temporarily not in your game.

    It's probably the amount of files you have in there that is causing the issue and EA needs to fix it.

    Okay, thank you! Itried it and it worked! 😕mileyhappy: I was wondering if you know how many families I can create in each world before the system will not let me play, again?? At least now I know (if only I can remember...lol) what to do if it happens again. And, if possible, how do I give you "XP Points"? Because I saw in the fine print underneath your username, it said that any XP points will be appreciated...I'm new at this...

    I will move my saved games as you suggested and see if that works.  Thanks for the tip!

    Update:

    I can play!!  Thanks Carin!  Once I removed my saved games I was able to play.  It's like starting from the beginning but the update pack is still in the game.
