I CAN'T PLAY SIMS 4 AFTER THE UPDATE!!! MAC OS X

(Sorry about my poor English, I am a Taiwanese player) When yesterday I updated Sims 4, I restarted my computer and try to run the game. But when I succeed got into the game, and got into the world I played, I cannot play my character! When I click my house and click the "Play", the page always goes to the "Select World" page, no matter how I try(restarted my macbook, restarted origin, restarted Sims 4, repaired Sims 4), it just couldn't work! I can't play my character, or even other characters, I can't rebuild the houses, and even I try to click the library to rebuild, it just don't work. It always goes to the "Select world" page. I think that must be the update issue, but I couldn't cancel the update! It's already done! So what should I do????? I spent so much time on my character, I really don't want to lose it... Did anyone have my problem?????

  • First of all try moving your Sims 4 folder to your desktop (Documents > Electronic Arts > Sims4). Don't worry, your saves will be safe there. Try starting the game up and starting a new game. This is to test and make sure that the game will start up fine. It also allows the game to replace the Sims 4 folder. Play for an hour or so, save your new game and then exit. Start up Sims 4 again and see if the "new game" is there and allows you to start up the "new" game. If it does, then you should be able to move the Saves folder from the file on your desktop to the new folder found in the Documents file.
