I can't redeem my product code for Sims 4.

Recently I found and bought a copy of The Sims 4 Limited Edition at a store. Thinking that I could then go home and play it, I tried to install it. Unfortunately, every time I tried to redeem the code it said that it had already been registered and I couldn't go on to install it. I even tried to do AutoRun but it kept bringing me back to Origin. Is there any way I can install the game without Origin, or just install the game at all? Thank you.
