I can't update Sims 4 - PLEASE HELP!!!

I am so sad ;_; I can't seem to update Sims 4. I bought it last week and I haven't updated anything since then. Only tried it today and it doesn't work. When I go to "My Games" on origin and click on "Update" on Sims 4, this comes up. http://prntscr.com/53espb

I have searched this on Google and tried all sorts of solutions such as re installing Origin, turning off my firewall and my anti virus and changing the User Account Control thingy. I have also restarted my PC several times.

Oh and this pops up a bit later too: http://prntscr.com/53ehlh

After closing them, nothing. Absolutely nothing. Oh and I have also tried running Origin as an admin and that didn't change anything still. I tried pressing "Update" multiple times and it's always the same result.

PLEASE HELP! I really want to get the new patch ;_;

    I found a solution that worked for me!

    What I did was I did a clean boot of my PC: http://help.ea.com/en/article/how-to-clean-boot-your-pc/ (follow steps carefully)

    After I restarted my PC. I went to task manager and ended Origin. I then ran Origin as an admin and it immediately started updating my game. And it actually finished without a problem. No errors or anything.

    Me too, it's a lot of money. Worth it if it works, it's an amazing game, but this is just awful.

    Agree. Also heard that the game lags much more after the update.

    Lets hope that's not the case for me. I have to run Sims 4 on AT LEAST Medium graphics with laptop mode on. Anything higher than that goes slow.

  • I have a problem with it where it stoped updating and wont start agen 😕mileysad:
